Troll Falls -- July 6, 2008

After the Hummingbird Plume Lookout hike, Nat and I decided to take advantage of the maze of trails to take a different way back to the car. We passed close to Troll Falls, the short hike Dave and I had checked the week prior, and we stopped by for a look. A lot less bugs, a few more people, and some more nice photos...

OK, here we go again. I guess there are trolls under that waterfall. Right?

JJ -- heavenly, except for the bugs!!

Suzanne -- we looked and looked, even went under the falls, but we couldn't find the trolls. ;-)

The Troll Falls remind me of Munising Falls. They are located near the 'Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore'. Waterfall hunting is a must at least once a season.

Super Mama -- while there are nice waterfalls in this area, I've seen some truly amazing ones in other parts of the world. I'm hoping to do some more "waterfall hunting" in the backcountry this summer.

(I like talking about the summer when it's -25 C outside)
